The Sea Tow Foundation’s mission is to provide access to education, tools and resources in order to eliminate preventable recreational boating accidents and deaths. Your support helps gets us closer to our dream where we envision a world where boaters are safe and responsible.

We make life jackets available for people to borrow from over 1,300 Life jacket Loaner Stations across the country with help from our volunteers who set up and maintain the life jacket loaner stands in their boating communities.

We reduce occurrences of boating under the influence through our nationwide Sober Skipper Campaign which uses yellow wristbands and resource materials to encourage boaters to designate a sober skipper on every boating trip.

Every day, Sea Tow Foundation volunteers use materials and supplies to promote boating safety throughout the United States.

Our website and online materials are a free resource for boating safety information, and we are always looking at ways to improve our messaging to reach even more people.
