Resources for All Programs
The Sea Tow Foundation believes that boating can be safe AND fun. Our programs are flexible enough that anyone can utilize them, and we work with governmental agencies at the local, state and federal level; other non-profit organizations; businesses; civic groups; clubs; and many individuals. Our programs can be repeated year after year to help keep boating fun AND safe in your local community.
The following resources help provide support for the Sea Tow Foundation Programs:
Life Jacket Count Form
Please use this form to count the life jackets on life jacket loaner stations and in inventory.
Take a Boating Safety Class
Boating Safety courses are important and are the law for many boaters in the U.S. The interactive, online course offered by our friends at iLearntoBoat.com meets the legal requirements in many states with many more being added daily. Plus, iLearntoBoat will provide a donation to the Sea Tow Foundation for every boater who takes and completes a course from this link on our website.
Model Release Form
When taking photos of people to promote boating safety, it may be a good idea to utilize a model release form to ensure permission is granted by the people in the photos.
The Sea Tow Foundation develops slide presentations to meet your needs. For a presentation about the Sea Tow Foundation and how we can work together click this link.
If your organization, business, club or activity is in need of a boating safety expert to speak at an upcoming event, the Sea Tow Foundation can help you find a speaker in your local area.

With a focus on safe boating practices that result in fun on the water, the Sea Tow Foundation – a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization – was established in 2007 by Sea Tow Founder Capt. Joe Frohnhoefer. After his passing in 2015, Captain Joe’s legacy continues as the Foundation brings attention to the number of preventable boating-related injuries, deaths, and damage to property, that directly addresses prevention methods through education and awareness.
