2025 National Boating Safety Awards

Established in 2019, the Sea Tow Foundation™ National Boating Safety Awards honors outstanding for-profit companies in the recreational boating industry, and the organizations representing them, for their commitment to promoting boating safety.

How to Enter

Applications will be accepted from August 4 through September 12, 2025. To submit your entry, please use the form at the bottom of the page.

Your entry should highlight an “effort” - this could be a campaign, product, service, event, video, social media content, advertisement or any other offering - that was carried out between January 1, 2024 and July 1, 2025.

Efforts may still be ongoing; however, you must provide audience demographic data and success metrics measured within the specified timeframe. All entries must include examples demonstrating how boating safety was promoted.

If you've previously won a National Boating Safety Award you may submit a new entry for that same effort. However, your current entry must document significant enhancements or new additions to that boating safety initiative to be eligible for consideration again.

You may select only one category per entry. You are welcome to submit multiple entries, whether in the same or different categories, as long as each entry represents a distinct effort.

Important: Please read the entire application thoroughly before you begin. Once you start, you won't be able to save your progress or return to complete it later.

Entries will be judged by members of the Sea Tow Foundation™ Boating Safety Advisory Council after the application entry period closes on September 12, 2025.

The 2025 National Boating Safety Awards will be presented live at IBEX on October 8, 2025 at 4:30 p.m. in the Tech Talk Theater. Winners will also be announced on the Sea Tow Foundation website and across social media channels the following day.
